To survive the game's hazards, players can utilize a selection of items and actions.11 These tools provide essential utility for navigation, mapping, and escaping tight situations. The Glowstick is a portable light source that is especially useful during the Lobby's random blackout events.8 Unlike the standard directional flashlight, it provides full 360-degree ambient lighting, helping players spot nearby walls and threats.8 The Black Marker serves as a primary navigational aid.11 It allows players to draw custom markings directly onto walls and surfaces, helping them map confusing layouts, flag dead ends, and prevent backtracking in identical hallways. The Shove action acts as a critical defensive mechanic.11 When executed correctly, it lets players shove physical blockades or stagger threats that get too close, buying precious seconds to run or hide. The Camera is a dual-purpose tool.16 While it can be used for general scouting, it also interacts directly with certain entities.6 Specifically, taking photos of the Moving Mannequins causes them to accelerate or show increased aggression, transforming a passive stalker into an active threat.6 Finally, the physical inventory item known as the Evil Duck can be found near a set of stairs toward the back of the Pool Rooms.14 Picking up this object awards the EVIL DUCK badge and places the item in the player's active inventory slot.11

This wiki favors verified mechanics over filler. If a fighter, unit, weapon, pet, secret, entity, faction, skill, or code cannot be tied to an official page, in-game confirmation, or exact-match guide evidence, it is treated as unverified.
