Fleeing from the Mimic requires careful stamina management.6 Because its sprint speed matches the player's max velocity, running in a straight line will eventually result in getting caught once stamina is depleted.6 To counter this, players should navigate through tight corridors, using sharp turns and structural obstacles to break the entity's pathfinding line.6 By forcing the Mimic to calculate complex pathfinding angles around corners, players can buy enough time for it to hit its despawn timer.6 When navigating the basement of Liminal Home, maintaining a silent auditory profile is critical.6 Due to Still Life's large hearing range, running or jumping will immediately alert the entity, even through walls.6 Players must rely on crouch-walking to stay quiet.6 If a chase is triggered, players should immediately run toward narrow crawlspaces, ventilation shafts, or low-clearance tunnels.6 These areas exploit Still Life's large collision box, physically blocking it from entering and allowing the player to escape.6 Group coordinates require careful positioning to mitigate the upcoming Headhunter's target-switching mechanic.6 If a teammate is targeted during the Stalking phase, other players must maintain a safe distance of at least 25 studs from the entity.6 Crossing this 25-stud boundary will instantly trigger the Hunting phase and shift the lock to the new player.6 Furthermore, during a Hunt, players must avoid looking directly at the Headhunter, as direct visual contact increases its pursuit velocity.6 Breaking line-of-sight and using physical barriers are the only reliable ways to survive the hunt.6
